UPDATE...KA BLAM!

Alright, I really have been doing my best to be motivated to make a post, finally I'm doing it. So...I've got a nice 4 days off here so I've been being a tad lazy and just a tad productive too. What have Amanda and I done lately? Well what else but hang out at home with our dog!? Actually I've worked on my Bearded Dragon's enclosure a little bit (I'll get to that later), I've taken Shae to the dog park a few times, and she loves it there but she's been showing a little bit of aggression lately and I don't know why. What else...Well we went to the gym a couple times and also did a couple 2 mile walks. Ok...I'm trying to figure out how to make this interesting in the least bit...
Well I took my Bearded Dragon to the vet today because he had hookworms, something similar to tapeworm I'm sure, either way it takes away from the nutrition he really needs from the worms and greens that he eats. So he's on his way to recovery and in the meantime today i did a little work on his enclosure, mainly improvements on the look of it. Recently I built an boxed wooden enclosure for him measuring 4'x2'x2' and he loves the space to roam around. Reptiles have in the last year became a pretty big interest/hobby for me so it's been fun. Here's some pictures:

First post EVER!

Ok...so here is my first post, never really done much of this blogging stuff, and I really don't know if I plan to continue but we'll see.
Well lets start with last week shall we? I have been putting together the paperwork needed to get out of the Air Force early and join the Air National Guard in NY. Mainly I'm doing this so I can get back to NY and be with family and friends, and so that my soon to be wife and I will be able to actually have a stable place to live and start a family. As far as that all goes so far...there was bad news last week, i submitted the paperwork to the first link in the chain of command I have and they told me that it didn't look good. Without going into too many details I ended up going back to the Guard recruiter I've been talking to and he explained some things to me and I left and ended the week feeling a little more optimistic about it.
Ok...what else? Well My dog Shae, an 8 month Pit-Terrier (or if you're for some stupid reason afraid of pits, Staffordshire Terrier) came inside on wednesday with her face about twice the size and the beginnings of hives on her skin. So figuring she got bit by something I took her to the vet to get something for it. About 80 dollars later she was looing better but, I should have just done a little research first and found out i could have gave her Benadryl, because that's all the vet gave her. Anyway...it turned out it wasn't just a bite or a bee sting because for the next 4 days she kept breaking out pretty bad in hives. The Benadryl was barely helping so yesterday I brought her back to the vet and he figured she had allergies. Instead of doing Allergy tests on her, he gave her an allergy shot that should last 4 weeks. Hopefully the allergies are just something passing through the air or just this spring month.
Well...I think that'll be all for now, currently I'm at work, yes work on a sunday morning. I have weird work schedules that change frequently.
